Thousands of local footballers of all ages are set to play at Sixfields over the next ten days as Northampton Town prepare to stage a host of community matches and festivals before the pitch undergoes its summer renovation work.
The events kick off with the club's 22nd annual disability festival on Saturday, before a number of Northants FA games on Sunday.
Next week sees the annual Walking Football Festival, the Heads Up Mental Health Festival, a female schools tournament and a male schools tournament.
Friday May 17th sees the corporate Carlsberg Cup take place before Saturday May 18th and Sunday May 19th see the club host the 2024 Cobblers Cup, with hundreds of players aged from under 6 to under 10 playing on the hallowed Sixfields turf.
The summer pitch renovation work is set to start on Monday May 20th.
